Three boys who were playing with an old shell in the Kula forest were injured when it suddenly detonated. The oldest one, aged 14, is in serious condition.

A teenager and two children were wounded on Sunday when a shell they were playing with exploded in the Kula forest near Elad.
The three, aged 14, 11 and 9, were treated by MDA paramedics on the scene and then evacuated to a nearby hospital. The 14-year-old boy is reportedly in serious condition, suffering from abdominal and leg injuries.

“There was a great deal of panic when we arrived,” said Elad Yisrael Shemesh, a paramedic who treated the boys. “We saw the three children in an open area behind the bus terminal. They were fully conscious and were bleeding from several places.”
Two months ago, three 11-year-old boys were injured in Elad after playing with a grenade near a building.
