“My name is Chloe and when I’m bigger I would like a job with Google,” 7-year-old Chloe Bridgewater from England sent a letter to Google seeking a job. Chloe outlined her advantages and said that her dad told her to send an application, even though she doesn’t “really know what one of them is.” She added that this was only the second letter that she has ever sent, the first one was to Father Christmas.
Surprisingly, Chloe received a reply from Google CEO Sundar Pichai. “Thank you so much for your letter,” Pinchai wrote. “I’m glad that you like computer and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to- from working in Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school.”
Chloe’s interest in the company was sparked when she asked her dad Andy what his ideal work place would be. After hearing about the bean-bag chairs, go-karts and slides, she had to apply.
