Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and screenwriter and television producer Brad Falchuk were married in a private ceremony at a Hampton residence in New York in front of family members and several stars, reports E! News.

Paltrow, born in Los Angeles, is the daughter of Jewish director Bruce Paltrow and Christian-born actress Blythe Danner.  Her paternal grandparents were Ashkenazi Jews who emigrated from Belarus and Poland. His godfather is director Steven Spielberg. Brad Falchuk was born in Massachusetts into a Jewish family.

The 46-year-old Oscar winner and Falchuk, 47, started dating in 2014 after meeting during the filming of the “Glee” series, one of which her now husband was co-producing.

However, their relationship wasn’t made public until 2015, the news website adds.

Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Steven Spielberg, Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan, as well as Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, attended the wedding and hosted a rehearsal dinner for the couple.

This is the second marriage for both of them. She was married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, who are still friends and who just before the wedding sang at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park.

The entertainment website adds that it is unknown if Martin attended the wedding. The couple divorced in 2016 and share custody of their children Apple and Moses.

Falchuk was married to television producer Suzanne Bukinik, and after a ten-year relationship they divorced in 2013. He also has two children, Isabella and Brody.
