Yesterday, the 59th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony took place. The undisputed stars of this year’s ceremony were singers Beyoncé and Adele who competed for the most important prizes. Adele, however, won the nomination for Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

Yesterday (Sunday), the biggest stars gathered for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony. The biggest victor of the night was singer Adele, who picked the 3 most important prizes.

Her album 25 won the Album of the Year prize and famous hit ‘Hello’ won both Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Adele didn’t have an easy victory with Beyoncé’s Lemonade album against her, and even dedicated her victory to the latter.

She opened the night with a live performance of ‘Hello’. From there, host James Corden took the lead and even surprised the crowd with a rap song. A list of impressive performances continued throughout the night with Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. As always, Beyoncé stole the show with a 9 minute performance after announcing her pregnancy with twins.

Chance the Rapper also won several prizes including Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album. Drake’s famous Hotline Bling received the Best Rap Song award.
