American are still in shock and uproar after Congresswoman Ilhan Omar put acid on a wound that is still open in the hearts and minds of the American people.

At a congressional ceremony organized by the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Los Angeles, Ilhan Omar said the following when talking about the 9/11 terror attacks;

“Far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and frankly, I’m tired of it and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people’ did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

Her remarks have sparked outrage on both sides of the aisles, the press, and the American people.

“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,’” tweeted Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw,

Ronna McDaniel, president of the Republican National Council, urged the Democratic Party to strongly condemn these new hateful remarks without delay and said, “Ilhan Omar isn’t just anti-Semitic – she’s anti-American. Nearly 3,000 Americans lost their lives to Islamic terrorists on 9/11”

President Donald Trump reminded everyone how hurtful the Congresswoman’s words were;
