Violence in Amona continues even after the evacuation of the synagogue. Rioters blocked the buses that were supposed to evacuate the young people who were barricaded in the synagogue. The civilians broke the windows of the bus and escaped. Violent clashes continue between settlers and the police while the settlers physically deny media outlets to continue broadcasting the images. Over 60 policemen were injured.
Violent images continue even after the evacuation of the Amona synagogue (as reported by JOL earlier). The civlians who were evacuated from the synagogue reached Ofra by bus, where they broke the bus’s windows as settlers blocked the way and let them escape.
At this moment, violent clashes continue as settlers physically block media outlets from reporting and broadcasting images of the settlers fighting the Israel police.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the evacuation: “We did everything so that we wouldn’t reach this moment of violence. We upheld the law because we are a state of law. I am sure that we all feel the evacuated families’ pain.” He also promised that the government will establish a new settlement for the evacuees.
