A Palestinian woman attempted to drive her car into civilians waiting at the bus stop at the Gush Etzion Junction. Security forces in the area responded quickly and immediately neutralized the terrorist. A young pregnant woman needed medical treatment after she suffered from shock.
Attempted terror attack in Gush Etzion: At approximately 3:50 pm, emergency call centers in the area received a report of a Palestinian driver who began speeding up as she approached the junction. Initial investigations revealed that upon reaching the junction, the driver suddenly accelerated and drove onto the sidewalk, fully intending to harm the civilians and soldiers waiting at the adjacent bus stop.
Soldiers shot at the terrorist immediately and she was eliminated on the spot. The IDF spokesperson said that security forces were combing the area for other suspects.

“When we arrived at the scene, we saw that a car had collided with the concrete barriers put there to protect the bus stop,” said MDA paramedic Zaki Yahav, who had reached the junction within minutes of the attack. “There were a few soldiers and civilians there- among them a 28-year-old pregnant woman whom we treated for shock. To our relief, no one was physically injured. The neutralized terrorist was treated by military paramedics.”
