The suspect, a 70 year-old man, was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly exposed himself to girls in public gardens in Bnei Brak. He was released and will remain in house arrest for six days. His attorney: “At the time of the incident he was in his house alongside his wife”
A 70 year-old author was arrested two days ago (Monday), he is suspected of sexually abusing under-aged girls in public gardens in Bnei Brak.
According to the allegation the man used to expose himself in front of under-aged girls. He is also suspected of other sexual offences against minors.
During the court hearing Police representatives requested to extend the suspect remand, but the judge concluded that it isn’t likely that the suspect will interfere with the investigation in anyway, and decided to release him for house arrest. In addition the judge prohibited him to approach the public gardens where he allegedly committed the offences attributed to him.
The suspect’s lawyer, Shai Roda, denied the allegations against his client. “He denies any involvement in the incident and claimed that he was identified erroneously”, Said Roda. “At the time of the incident my client was in his house alongside his wife. He also denies any involvement in other sexual offences”.
