Representatives of the Baloch Republican Party recently participated in an event organized by the German Israel Congress, where they highlighted the atrocities and human rights abuses that the Pakistani government is implementing in occupied Balochistan. Senior level Israeli political figures such as Shaul Mofaz also participated in the event. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech for the occasion via video.

Baloch Republican Party Germany Chapter President Jawad Mohammed Baloch emphasized in the event that since day one, the Pakistani government has been implementing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Balochistan.   According to the report, the participants promised to support the Baloch Freedom Movement and due to the Pakistani governments’ massive human rights violations, international support for the Baloch Republican Party has increased recently.

Ashraf Sherjan, an activist for the Baloch Republican Party, proclaimed: “Normally, many people ask me many times why I love Israel. I have just one answer. The people of Israel are peaceful people that love humanity. Israel is trying to listen to us and to understand our problems while the rest of the world including the Gulf countries are ignoring the occupation of Balochistan. Presently, no one is supporting us but we hope that soon Israel and the rest of the world will support a free Balochistan.”

In an interview with Israel Radio, President of the Baloch Republican Party Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti declared that the Baloch nation is secular and they respect the right of every religion to worship their faith in peace and harmony: “It is Pakistan that has that has given full impunity to extremism in Balochistan in order to counter the Balochistan Freedom Movement. Not only Baloch, but Sindhi and Pashtuns have also been under Punjab oppression as well. The Punjabi elite loot and exploit our resources.” According to him, the situation in Balochistan is not that different from Syria and it has been like that since 1948: “People are being abducted, tortured under custody, killed and dumped but the world remains unaware as we lack media coverage.”

Since yesterday, the Baloch Republican Party is holding a five-day public awareness campaign outside the UN office in Geneva, Switzerland so that they can raise awareness about human rights violations and crimes against humanity that Pakistan is implementing in Balochistan. Protesters are holding up pictures of Baloch martyrs, who are victims of Pakistan’s kill and dump policy, and they are chanting slogans against the Pakistani state.  One of the protesters goals is to highlight Pakistan’s grave human rights abuses and to show the world how it is connected to Chinese intervention on Baloch soil.

According to Sher Baz Bugti, the Baloch Republican Party Switzerland Chapter President, Pakistan is utilizing CPEC in order to cover up their occupation of Balochistan: “Pakistani atrocities against the Baloch people are an example of state sponsored terrorism that cannot be found in the rest of the world. Pakistan had been continuously violating human rights in Balochistan by indiscriminately bombarding the Baloch civil populace, abducting innocent Baloch civilians and burying them into mass graves after torturing them to death while they are in custody. The so-called China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a design to enslave the Baloch people. The inhabitants are being forced to flee their ancestral lands in order to pave way for the corridor.”
