Yesterday (Friday), it was reported the US President Donald Trump’s Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is leaving the White House. Despite reports that the decision was consensual between Bannon and Chief of Staff John Kelly, sources close to Bannon say that he is “deeply vengeful” and that “he’s not going to go out peacefully.”
“I want to thank Steve Bannon for his service,” Trump tweeted earlier. “He came to the campaign during my run against crooked Hillary Clinton- it was great!” Vice President Mike Pence also praised Bannon: “Steve served Trump with distinction. I value his friendship and contributions. Thank you, Steve!”

Hours after the White House statement, the former Chief Strategist returned to his former position as executive chair of far-right Breitbart News. “Now, I’m free,” he said. “I’ve got my hands back on my weapons. Someone said, ‘It’s Bannon the Barbarian.’ I am definitely going to crush the opposition. There’s no doubt…I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents.”
