Police, the General Security Service (Shabak) and the IDF continue to search for Ashraf Waleed Suliman Naalwa, 23, of the town of Shweika (near Tulkarem), who murdered a 28-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man employed by the company where he worked in that industrial area.
Security forces have arrested several Palestinian residents of Shweika in recent days, including the mother and two sisters of the terrorist, for questioning, the military spokesman said.
The terrorist entered the offices of the Alon Group company, tied up the administrative assistant, 35 yr old mother Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and shot her dead with a Carlo Gustav machine gun, as well as wounding a colleague who had come to the scene after hearing the gunshots.
He then entered the office of another employee, Ziv Hajbi, 35, father of three children, and shot him to death, after that he fled the scene.
According to the director of the industrial park, Roni Juri, social services personnel have been meeting with Israeli and Palestinian workers of the company, so that the “traumatic incident” does not harm the “family environment” of which this industrial park boasts.
About 3,600 Palestinians work in this industrial park, erected near the city of Ariel and whose products are targeted by the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaign.
