A month has passed since the deadly terrorist attack at the Barkan Industrial Zone in October, but despite the time that has passed and an intensive manhunt by Israel, security forces have yet to arrest the terrorist.
Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na’alwa, 23, from the Palestinian village of Shuweika near the West Bank city of Tulkarm, had a permit to work at Barkan and had been employed as an electrician at the factory. The terrorist entered the offices of the Alon Group company, tied up the administrative assistant, 35 yr old mother Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and shot her dead with a Carlo Gustav machine gun, as well as wounding a colleague who had come to the scene after hearing the gunshots.
He then entered the office of another employee, Ziv Hajbi, 35, father of three children, and shot him to death, after that he fled the scene.
The IDF and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) have been hunting for Na’alwa since the attack, so far fruitlessly.
