In light of the worsening security situation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced he would convene his Cabinet on Saturday evening. Education Minister Naftali Bennett demanded that the Cabinet assemble on Friday evening, despite it being Shabbat, and presented his multi-step plan for the eradication of terror.
Bennett’s first proposed step is the expulsion of terrorists’ family members from their town or village and move them to a different location in the West Bank. Secondly, he demanded that illegal buildings of Palestinians be demolished. In turn, Bennett proposed, two new neighborhoods should be built in the settlement of Kiryat Arba, where 13-year-old Hallel Ariel was killed on Thursday in her sleep.
Another step recommended by Bennett is to ban Palestinians from Highway 60, where Friday’s stabbing attack took place. Drivers, he said, should be forced to use alternate routes.

The minister also called for the re-imprisonment of all the political prisoners who were released as part of the deal to free Gilad Shalit, as well as harming the transference of compensation money from the Palestinian Authority to terrorists’ families.
Lastly, Bennett called to impose restrictions on social media in the Palestinian territories, in order to prevent incitement through viral videos. These steps, Bennett claimed, will “signal to the Palestinians that they’ve crossed the line.”
