As previously reported by JOL, the high tensions along the Israel-Gaza security fence continued throughout the week. On Monday, Israeli fighter jets attacked a Hamas target in northern Gaza after several explosive devices were placed along the Gaza border by terrorists who breached the security fence. On Sunday, an IDF tank opened fire on three Palestinians who broke through the security fence, causing the Palestinians to flee back to Gaza. When IDF soldiers searched the area, they found two improvised explosive devices.
