A 17-year-old Israeli woman, Rina Shnerb, has been killed and two members of her family were seriously injured after a bomb exploded at the Ein Bubin springs site near the Dolev settlement in the Wst Bank.

The IDF is reporting that an improvised explosive device had been used during the attack, but it has not yet been determined whether the bomb was thrown at the family, or if it was laid earlier and then set off.

Magen David Adom’s rescue services were immediately dispatched to the scene of the attack.

The father, 46, and his 20-year-old son were transported by helicopter to a Jerusalem hospital in critical condition. The 17-year-old girl was in critical condition and treated at the scene of the attack by doctors, before succumbing to her injuries.

The area has been cordoned off by the army and is launching extensive search in the Ramallah area to locate the perpetrators of the attack.

The terrorist movement Hamas released a statement in the wake of the Dolev’s attack that it is a “proof of the heroism of our people against the occupation”.
