This summer, many celebrities are heading to Israel for various events that are spicing up the country’s culture scene. Some of these VIPs have even faced public criticism from anti-Israel groups or social media users.

As the new presenter for Premier Dead Sea Cosmetics, Mariah Carey came to Israel last week. The American singer-songwriter posed for a photo shoot in the Dead Sea, taking stunning pictures that were later uploaded to her Instagram page. Carey left Israel aboard a private plane after she finished the campaign for the Israeli cosmetics company.
On Thursday, Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee performed for the first time in Israel. Thousands of reggaeton-loving fans flocked to Live Park in Rishon LeZion in order to see Yankee. After the show, Yankee tweeted: “Wow! Great show in Israel. Thank you for the love. Muchas gracias por el apoyo, SHALOM!”
