The Democratic Presidential Candidate responded for the first time to her Republican rival according to which he implied that he wishes her physical harm: “All of these incidents in which he is involved prove that he cannot stand at the head of the armed forces.”
Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton responded to Republican Candidate Donald Trump’s remarks yesterday where he implied that he wished her physical harm: “Trump proved that he does not have the temperament to be commander-in-chief of the armed forces.” CNN reported that because of the controversial remarks, the US Secret Service held talks with the Trump campaign.
Clinton claimed that Trump’s remarks incited violence. In Iowa, she stated that “words make a difference friends and if you are running for president, words can have enormous consequences.”
“Yesterday, we saw the latest incident in a long series of Donald Trump’s mindless statements that crossed the line,” she proclaimed. “His brutal casual talk towards the Khan family, his casual statement that the country needs nuclear weapons, and now, his casual incitement to violence all show that Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be president or to be commander-in-chief of the armed forces.”
