The famous American comedian actor, film director and producer has passed away at the age of 91. Jerry Lewis suffered from many medical issues, including prostate cancer and diabetes, in recent years.

Jewish American comedian, actor, film director and producer Jerry Lewis passed away on Sunday at the age of 91. Lewis had an extensive career that lasted several decades. In 2014, he performed in front of 2,400 fans in California.

Lewis’ career began in 1946 alongside Dean Martin in joint radio programs, television shows and movies until their paths split in 1956. Lewis then began to direct, produce and act, starring in The King of Comedy and The Nutty Professor.

Lewis suffered from many medical issues, including prostate cancer, diabetes and heart problems, over the years.
