Today (Wednesday), the National Labor Court ruled in favor of the state’s request to cancel the Secondary School Teachers Association’s slowdown. The court ordered that an injunction be issued against the teachers’ demonstrations, which included the cancellation of extracurricular activities.

The Secondary School Teachers Association’s protest began after the organization claimed that its various demands were not being fulfilled. The teachers’ demonstration led to a student strike.

Following the ruling, the National Student and Youth Council announced that it will suspend its strike. “We are happy and excited that after a week of intensive protest, we won the battle,” said the head of the National Student and Youth Council, Eliav Bitito.
