22-year-old Ahmad Jarrar, the commander of the terror unit that carried out the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach in Havat Gilad last week, was killed during Thursday night’s raid in Jenin. His father, Nasr, was a senior Hamas member who had planned multiple terrorist attacks prior to his elimination by Israeli forces in 2002.

The terrorist who was killed during Thursday night’s raid in Jenin is Ahmad Jarrar, 22, a Palestinian Health Ministry official said.

Jarrar was the commander of the terror unit that carried out last week’s drive-by shooting attack in the Havat Gilad outpost, in which Rabbi Raziel Shevach was murdered. His father, Nasr, was a senior Hamas member killed by Israeli forces in 2002 after having planned multiple terrorist attacks during the second intifada.

Early Thursday morning, Israeli forces raided the West Bank city of Jenin and captured the terrorists who carried out the deadly drive-by shooting in Havat Gilad. Two soldiers were injured during clashes with local Palestinians, some of whom were armed. One of the soldiers is reportedly in serious condition, though his condition has since stabilized.

As part of the operation, the Israeli forces used tractors and bulldozers to demolish the terrorists’ homes. Jarrar died after being buried under the ruins of his house.
