Egyptian military forces seized a vehicle carrying dangerous chemical agents in the Sinai Peninsula on Monday morning. The vehicle contained gas cylinders that were labeled “butane gas,” a highly inflammable compound.
The discovery comes amid the ongoing mobilization of the Egyptian military against terror organizations in Sinai, particularly ISIS. As previously reported by JOL, a video issued by the Egyptian Air Force on Saturday shows military aircraft tracking and destroying a convoy of ten vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition that tried to penetrate Egypt’s border from neighboring Libya.
