Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who recently hinted that he may return to politics, testified on Thursday in the probe into the German submarine deal.
“This investigation is very important,” Barak tweeted. “I hope the police discover the truth as quickly as possible, as difficult as it may be.”
In another tweet from a few days ago, Barak wrote, “Submarines are vital, but the public trust is more vital.”
