Following yesterday’s stabbing attack in Finland, in which 2 people were murdered and 8 others were injured, the Finland Police stated that it is investigating the attack as a possible act of terrorism. The police added that the arrested suspect is 18 years old and originally from Morocco.

Meanwhile, Spanish Minister of Interior Juan Ignacio Zoido stated that the country will maintain a level 4 security alert, only 1 below the maximum level. Zoido added that security will be reinforced in public and tourist locations. The minister claimed that the terror cell, which was comprised of 12 males, “has been completely dismantled.”

Police are still searching for 22-year-old Younes Abouyaaqoub, who is currently suspected of being the driver of the truck in Barcelona’s Las Ramblas terror attack. As reported yesterday by JOL, 17-year-old Moussa Oukabir, who was first suspected of committing the terror attack in Barcelona, was likely among those eliminated by police in the second attack in Cambrils.
