Two Israeli Border Police officers were injured today at a checkpoint near Jenin when a motorcycle rammed into them. The officers were moderately injured. Medical teams are on their way to the scene.

Two Israeli Border Police officers were moderately injured today (Tuesday) at the Jalamah Checkpoint near Afula after a motorcycle apparently rammed into them. A medical helicopter has been deployed to their location in order to evacuate them to a hospital.

According to the initial investigation of the incident, four motorcycles arrived at the checkpoint. After the officers signaled them to stop for an inspection, they turned around, hit two of the officers and fled the scene. According to reports within the Arab world, at least one of the motorcyclists has been caught by the IDF.
