Nehama Spiegel Novak, who has made history by becoming Israel’s first-ever ultra-Orthodox female pilot, was the co-pilot on the plane that flew Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to a summit in Greece.

Novak, a mother of four living in Jerusalem, was accepted into the pilots’ course of national flag carrier El Al in 2015, which she finished successfully just a few months ago.
