German police special forces stormed this morning (Tuesday) the abandoned hangar at Berlin’s defunct Tempelhof Airport following yesterday’s deadly terror attack. According to the local media reports, the suspect was known to the German security forces and lived in the hangers of the abandoned airport.
According to the German newspaper Bild, Naved B., a 23-year-old Pakistani who entered the country about a year ago, is the suspect who was arrested. A few hours after the terror attack in which 12 people were murdered and about 50 were injured, US President-elect Donald Trump accused ISIS of being responsible for the terror attack. “Innocent civilians were murdered in the streets as they prepared to celebrate the Christmas holiday,” said Trump.
