An explosion occurred Tuesday evening on a bus in Germany that was carrying the Borussia Dortmund soccer team, ahead of their Champions League quarter-final against Monaco. According to reports, the team’s defender, Mark Bartra, was taken to hospital.
A tweet on the club’s official Twitter page read, “A bomb exploded on the team bus next to the hotel. The players are safe. There is no danger at the stadium.”
