After the Israeli Supreme Court prevented Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from continuing to serve as Minister of Telecommunication and the appointment was temporarily transferred to Tzachi Hanegbi, the ministry will most likely remain under Hanegbi’s leadership.
Earlier, Netanyahu met with Hanegbi, most likely to offer him the position permanently. The Prime Minister already offered the position to Minister of Tourism Yarin Levin but the latter rejected.
This week, Hanegbi told Channel 2 News that in light of Netanyahu’s preference to Levin, he might not accept the ministry if offered to him. Hanegbi refused to comment on his conversation with Netanyahu.
