Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein went to eat at a restaurant in Arizona and was assaulted by one of the diners. The assailant approached Weinstein, cursed at him and slapped him. Later on, the man who assaulted Weinstein admitted that he drank a bit too much.

Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein accused of sexually assaulting several women, who helped launch the #MeToo movement, was physically assaulted while eating dinner with his “sober coach” at an Arizona restaurant. Footage of the assault was posted by tabloid-news site TMZ.

A man told TMZ that he approached Weinstein, who was seated at an adjacent table, and asked to take a picture with him. The man said that Weinstein vehemently refused, although the restaurant manager stated that Weinstein did so politely. The two shook hands and the man left however, when Weinstein and his coach left the venue, the man began shouting at Weinstein.

The man walked up to Weinstein and began cursing at him. The assailant told TMZ that he drank a bit too much and that he asked his friend to record the incident. Weinstein left the scene without calling the police.
