Hanukkah began with a cold winter forecast as snow covers the Hermon for those looking to celebrate the holidays in a Winter Wonderland.
Last night while throughout Israel the first night of Hanukkah was celebrated, those on the Hermon Mountain, celebrated the heavy snow that fell. The Hermon Ski Resort management hopes that the snow will continue falling throughout the day, painting the mountain white.
In addition to the snows in the Hermon area, heavy rains and storms are forecasted for the rest of Israel. Cold temperatures throughout the country arrive just in time for the wintery holidays.
