Opposition Chairman Isaac Herzog referred to the expected investigation into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s, “I’ll replace Netanyahu in the election booths, not in the investigations.”
Herzog also spoke about his party’s recent drop in the polls and Yair Lapid’s rise in the polls: “There is one contender against me, Netanyahu, who is losing control and another leader Lapid, who hasn’t said anything on main matters. Herzog continued by claiming that the polls are wrong because if they were right, then Hillary Clinton would’ve been elected and the Brexit would’ve failed. He also called Netanyahu weak and claimed that he is frightened of making decisions.
He expressed confidence that he will win his party’s primary election this summer: “I’ll persist, win and lead.”
