While digging, a group of Israeli construction workers discovered an old hand grenade in the ground. The police sappers that were called to the scene located a total of seven grenades, most likely from the time of the British Mandate.

Today (Tuesday), construction workers in the city of Kfar Saba, Israel, were shocked to discover old hand grenades during excavations. The workers called the police, who located and evacuated an entire pile of the grenades.
During the searches, the police sappers located seven hand grenades from the time of the British Mandate. The weapons were most likely made by an underground Jewish paramilitary organization.
In February, a young man in southern Israel discovered an ancient tank buried under the sand on a beach. He alerted the police and the bomb squad that arrived at the scene found a land mine and an old artillery shell nearby.
