Holon, Israel’s Children’s City, is celebrating the Purim holiday with its traditional Adloyada with giant floats and street performances.

In Holon, the traditional Purim parade (Adloyada) began today (Sunday) at 12:00 PM with giant floats, street performances and acrobats. Thousands of people are expected to attend the parade.

The parade, which marks the 25th anniversary of Holon becoming Israel’s Children’s City, began on Sokolov Street and will continue to HaNesi’im Street and Weizmann Street.

Children who attend the parade will get to see “heroes” from Israel and all over the world including Mary Poppins, Pippi Longstocking, Anna and Elsa, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Ilan Ramon, David Ben-Gurion, Albert Einstein and Gal Gadot.
