The IAEA announced today (Friday) that Iran has not violated the nuclear agreement. According to the report, Iran has not exceeded amount of uranium and heavy water supply that the nuclear deal allows.
In exchange for the removal of the sanctions, Iran committed to keeping its reserve of low-enriched uranium below 300 kg and its stock of heavy water at less than 130 metric tons.
“Throughout the reporting period, Iran had no more than 130 metric tons of heavy water,” reported the IAEA, which is in charge of making sure that Iran complies with the deal.
