The Israeli Air Force blasted three Hamas targets in Gaza late Wednesday night in response to the firing of rockets toward southern-Israeli towns.
“We will not let this shooting continue,” IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis has tweeted. “Hamas is solely responsible for what happens in the Gaza Strip. We expect it to exercise its responsibility and stop the shooting.”
Manelis also addressed the IDF’s latest tunnel-destruction operations along the Gaza border. “The IDF’s goal is to eliminate by the end of 2018 the underground infrastructure that allows to infiltrate Israel and violate its sovereignty,” he wrote.
