A Palestinian terrorist stabbed a Border Police officer near Jerusalem and then fled the scene. The officer is fully conscious and in good condition.
A knife-wielding Palestinian stabbed an IDF Border Police officer on Saturday morning near Jerusalem. The officer sustained minor injuries only. IDF forces are currently searching for the terrorist.
The soldiers were performing a routine security task when a Palestinian suddenly jumped out at them from behind a bush, stabbed one of them and fled the scene. IDF paramedics treated the wounded officer on the scene, and he was later taken to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem fully conscious and in good condition.
On Thursday, two IDF Border Police officers were injured near Ma’ale Adumim when a Palestinian rammed his car into them. The driver was located and arrested shortly afterwards. Israeli security forces ruled out the suspicion of terrorism after it was discovered that the Palestinian suspect was trying to steal a car.
