An IDF drone went down along Israel’s coast a few weeks ago due to a technical issue. Commenting on the incident today (Thursday), the spokesperson for the Israeli military said that there is no risk of leaked information. The drone was retrieved from the sea.
In March, an IDF drone crashed in Lebanon. “A drone crashed in an open territory in southern Lebanon due to a technical failure,” the IDF spokesperson said in a statement at the time, adding that no sensitive information could have been extracted from the unmanned aircraft.
Lebanon’s Al-Manar network, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that the drone fell between the villages of Beit Yahoun and Baraachit.
