IDF soldiers on Wednesday detained a Palestinian man near the West Bank settlements of Negohot. The man, who was wearing a heavy military coat, was frisked and found to be carrying a knife and a map of the settlement.
Earlier this week, IDF soldiers detained a Palestinian man who was trying to enter the settlement of Itamar, while a second Palestinian managed to flee the scene. Clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinian civilians during a search in the town of Beit Furik.
A man was arrested over the weekend for placing a bomb on a main road near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc. In his questioning, he admitted that he had intended to harm IDF soldiers.
