New videos released by the IDF show armed Hezbollah members manning guard posts along the border between Israel and Lebanon, in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit on Tuesday released two videos showing illegal activity by Hezbollah along the border between Israel and Lebanon.
In the videos, released ahead of a Thursday discussion on the issue at the UN Security Council, the IDF provided clear footage of armed Hezbollah members manning guard posts while disguised as environmental activists.
According to the IDF, the Lebanese-based terrorist organization takes advantage of a local environmental protection group called Green Without Borders in order to spy on Israel, possibly in preparation for a future military conflict.
Hezbollah’s activity along the border violates UN Security Council Resolution 1701, signed after the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war.
