An IDF soldier was severely injured on Wednesday during a parachuting exercise in northern Israel.
A preliminary report indicates that the soldier, aged 20, deviated from his landing route and hit a concrete wall. He was transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where his condition later stabilized.
The army has suspended its parachuting exercises for 36 hours in order to complete the inquiry into the accident.
