Today (Tuesday), it was allowed for publication that the Israel Police has launched an investigation against Aeronautics Defense Systems regarding business with an important client. All details of the investigation were placed under a sweeping gag order.
Aeronautics is an Israeli company that develops and manufactures Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAVs) for military uses. The company has clients in approximately 45 countries. Earlier this month, Aeronautics reported a 40-million-dollar deal with a foreign customer as part of an intelligence gathering project.
In August, TheMarker reported that the company’s stock fell by 17% following a statement that the Defense Ministry froze its license to export the Orbiter 1K UAV to an important foreign client.
Aeronautics responded: “The company will fully cooperate with every examination on any matter and will do its best to ensure that the investigation is as short as possible.”
