Across the Muslim world, thousands rally against Israel on the last day of Ramadan marking the International Quds (Jerusalem) Day: Iranians march through Tehran chanting “Death to Israel” and “Death to America,” while hundreds of members and supporters of Hezbollah demonstrated at the border fence between Israel and Lebanon.
International Quds (Jerusalem) Day was marked today (Friday) in Iran and other countries throughout the Muslim world, during which marches and demonstrations were held to express a general opposition to Zionism and Israeli control of Jerusalem. Members of Iran’s Ayatollah regime were seen marching alongside civilians in Tehran, during which slogans against Israel and the United States were chanted.
A demonstration was also held in Lebanon near fencing marking the border with Israel, across from the village of Metulla. About 100 Hezbollah members and the terror organization’s supporters held the group’s flags, Palestinian flags and signs, some of which read “We are coming” in Arabic.
International Quds Day is celebrated every year on the last Friday of Ramadan, as declared by the leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
