While the Iraqi forces have not yet completely regained control over all the neighborhoods in Mosul, the state TV stations have already announced the forces’ victory. “The fictitious state has fallen,” announced the spokesperson for the Iraqi Army.
Watch: ISIS losing power in Raqqa
The spokesperson for the Iraqi Army announced on Thursday that “the fictitious state has fallen.” The spokesperson was referring to the success of the Iraqi forces against the murderous terrorist organization in Mosul and ahead of the final battles over the lone neighborhoods that the terrorists still control.
The Iraqi authorities expect the battles to come to an end in the next few days with the victory of the army forces over the terrorists. The Iraqi Army claimed that the bombing of the historic al-Nuri Mosque in Mosul last week was a formal declaration of ISIS’ defeat.
