Abu Hamza, a spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group, has said that their Al-Quds Brigades are closely monitoring the enemy’s implementation of the cease-fire, their hands are always on the trigger, and they have already begun to replenish their rocket arsenals.
He credited his and Hamas’s forces by saying that it was due to their relentless barrage of rockets and anti-tank missiles that forced Israel’s hand to accept the cease-fire.
“The enemy wanted to reach, through the Cairo negotiations, a situation of calm in exchange for calm, but the leadership of the resistance organizations refused to do so,” Abu Hamza said.
At least eleven Palestinians killed in the retaliatory Israeli airstrikes in Gaza were members of the military wings of the terrorist groups.
Eight of the dead were members of the Al Quds Brigade, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The website of the Al Quds Brigade published the names of eight of those killed in the Israeli attacks. While the Brigade Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, the military wing of Hamas, released a statement saying that three of their members were dead.
