Another winter storm is heading Israel’s way. The heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit the country starting this evening. Snow is even expected on Mount Hermon and in northern Israel.

Israel will start experiencing extremely stormy weather on Thursday evening, with heavy rain and strong winds expected across the country. Mount Hermon and other highly-elevated places in northern Israel will even see snow.
This winter storm is expected to last until tomorrow afternoon. As part of the preparations ahead of its arrival, all Arkia flights have been rerouted from Sde Dov Airport to Ben-Gurion Airport.
The Golan Regional Council had a meeting with local emergency services on Thursday morning in order to make sure that the necessary preparations are being taken. At the end of the meeting, the council issued special instructions for Golan Heights residents.
