Today (Monday), it was reported that the Israeli consulate in New York received another suspicious envelope with an unknown substance ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly. The incident is currently being examined.

This, after last Friday, an envelope containing white powder and a death threat against Netanyahu arrived at the building but turned out to be harmless. The threat, which was reportedly written in English, was taken very seriously and New York police officers began to search the area. The consulate was reopened about an hour later.
