The investigation against Deri is being conducted in two main directions. The first is related to the Mifalot Simcha organization, which is headed by his wife. There are 2 suspicions in relation to this- the first is that state funds were transferred to the organization knowingly and illegally at the initiative of the minister and the second is that donation funds were used for personal benefits. The second direction of the investigation concerns tax offenses committed in 2 real estate projects owned by Deri.
