A young Israeli woman who was at the Reina Club last night said that she hid in the kitchen when the terrorist started shooting. “I didn’t see what happened but I heard the gunshots,” she said. One of the girl’s friends is in moderate condition and another is missing. The manhunt for the terrorist is underway.

Four young Israeli women were at the Reina Club last night (Saturday) when a terrorist murdered 39 people. One of the Israelis was moderately injured while another is missing. “I didn’t see what happened but I heard the gunshots,” one of the Israelis told Channel 2 Online. “We were very close.”
The young Israeli who spoke with Channel 2 Online is currently at a local police station giving her statement. “I dropped to the ground and then followed everyone who fled,” she continued. “I hid in the kitchen with a few people. We stayed quiet for a while. One of my friends hasn’t been located. Another one is in moderate condition.”

The girl’s travel agent said this morning that she is in Istanbul and on her way to the hospital in order to check up on her clients. Suzy Akman Rogobin, an Israeli who is in Istanbul, said: “The feeling here is very intense. Right after the celebration yesterday evening, we woke up to such a terrible thing.” Rogobin added that people are “searching for their children because everyone went out yesterday evening in order to celebrate.”
As reported by JOL, the terrorist who was dressed up as Santa Claus fled the scene and is still at large.
