Israeli security forces seized four lathes used for making weapons, electronic waste and old air conditioners Palestinians were attempting to smuggle into the West Bank.
Israeli security forces seized machinery used to make home-made weapons. Israeli Civil Administration inspectors discovered the four lathes, which had been dismantled and placed in a truck that was trying to smuggle them into the West Bank.
While the inspectors were searching the truck, one of the passengers exited it and fled the scene. According to the Israeli security establishment, this was a significant operation because the lathes that were seized are usually used in order to manufacture submachine guns terrorists used during the terror wave.
