Israeli pop singer Adam is in life-threatening condition after complications relating to a gallbladder removal surgery he has undergone.

Adam, 57, has been hospitalized since October. “They inserted a stent into my body and perforated my pancreas,” he wrote on Facebook, “which has caused major infections in other internal organs.”

Adam, whose birth name is Haim Cohen, was one of Israel’s biggest superstars during the 1980s.
